Introduction to PRAKASHA®

Cost: Free!
I offer the PRAKASHA® Introduction because I want to let people know what healing really is; I believe that there has been no time as crucial as the present for us to understand what this means. While there are many books about the techniques of healing on the market, and a lot of people promoting their methods, I have found none that exclusively address the nature of true healing and how to recognize and find it. The Introduction will address the following:
- It will give you an understanding of exactly how our mind and unconscious are linked with healing process.
- It will give you things to look for when searching for a practitioner or teacher—whether traditional or alternative.
- It addresses the energy dynamics of communication and increases awareness and effectiveness in this area.
- It will teach you how to create a healing experience for yourself or someone else.
- It is particularly useful and important for those who work in service to others, such as teachers, healers and therapists.
- You'll have an opportunity to experience one of the techniques used in the PRAKASHAź journey.
- You'll also have a chance to ask questions and discuss anything presented.
The Introduction is an experience in itself, one from which most people leave feeling very relaxed and centered. People sometimes repeat the Introduction for just that purpose. The Introduction is a prequisite for all PRAKASHA groups and sessions; however, there's no pressure to do PRAKASHA work in the future—the whole focus of the Introduction is on education and experience, and on opening a dialogue about the nature of healing.
The PRAKASHA® Journey
Time: TBA
Register by: TBA
Cost: $TBA
Prerequisite: An Introduction to PRAKASHA®
PRAKASHA® is a journey into the unconscious focused by a question or intention that allows us access to the real Source of Healing within us. It provides a context for self-directed healing to occur on many levels in a magical, musical atmosphere of exquisite safety. It is a natural and yet powerful way to heal emotional and psychic wounds that are affecting our functioning in the present and regain health on all levels. For more information about PRAKASHA, please click here.
The group will last approximately four hours, the length depending upon the number of participants. Personal support from the facilitator will be available at all times.
Preparation for all PRAKASHA® work
- It is strongly recommended that you refrain from mood-altering substances (e.g., caffeine, alcohol, marijuana, decongestants, antihistamines, ibuprofen) for 24 hours or more prior to PRAKASHA work; if you do not, you will likely not receive the full benefit and experience of the session. The exception is that if you are addicted to caffeine, it's alright to have a small amount that morning. It's also best not to eat a heavy meal before coming to your session (so that you don't fall asleep during your journey!).
- Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to sit or lie on the floor.
- There will be some paper, pens and crayons provided for making a record of your experience, but you are encouraged to bring your own notetaking and drawing materials. Bring anything that gives you comfort.
- Prepare yourself to have a profound experience.
