Happy Holidays!

Whatever you celebrate in this month of celebrations, I wish you health and joy!
We deserve a little joy, no?

This is for certain: 2020 has been a year like no other. Now that we're at the close of this seemingly interminable year, it's a good time to look back at exactly what we've just lived through (can you even remember last January?!), and make a toast to ourselves—to our suffering, our adaptability, and, most of all, our endurance. I've added some "year in picture" links below to refresh your memory.

Above all, don't forget to celebrate and acknowledge yourself for getting through the most difficult year most of us have ever experienced. Maybe a toast, a ritual, a ceremony of your own making to mark the end of "this" and the beginning of new possibilities would be a nice way to celebrate!

And let's remember to be kind. We're all suffering. If you can remember a time in the past when you were suffering, and someone gave you a smile or said a kind word, you know how much even small gestures can mean when you're hurting. May we all remember to be kind.

I'll "see" you again in 2021!

(And don't forget to keep scrolling below until you see the quote; there's more!)

Elena's Newsletter-Software Survey

Sending a pdf to your Kindle as a responsive file. If you use a Kindle, you’ve probably experienced the frustration of trying to read a pdf that you’ve emailed to your Kindle. The text is tiny and unreadable, and your Kindle settings don’t affect it. There’s a workaround!
  • Attach your pdf to an email.
  • Put the word “convert” in the Subject line; do NOT include anything else.
  • Do NOT put anything in the body of the email.
  • Again, just the pdf attachment and the Subject “convert” are all that go in the email.
  • Send the email to your personal Kindle email address (ask me if you can’t find that).
Once you open this pdf on your Kindle, it will respond to the same settings as your books do. Happy reading!
